OBITUARY: Fr. Corkery served parishes across three provinces

TORONTO - Redemptorist Father John Francis Corkery, in his 65th year of religious life, passed away in Toronto Jan. 23. He was 88.

Fr. Corkery had served in parish ministry for the Redemptorists in various cities across Newfoundland, Quebec and Ontario.

Fr. Corkery’s funeral was held Jan. 26 at St. Patrick’s Church in downtown Toronto. He was interred at Toronto’s Mount Hope Cemetery.
