When students attend a new school named Pope Francis, principal Anthony Arcadi hopes children will embrace the Pope’s qualities of caring, compassion and conversation.

Catholic students will soon be learning about leadership and Canadian history through an innovative course developed in partnership with some of Canada’s most iconic hockey players.

She gazes into his eyes – still shaded in heart-shaped sunglasses from the dress-up activity a few hours earlier – as she engages him in a dance to the rhythm of the music playing in the background.
