Hope continues for captured Filipino priest sighted alive

A video surfaced May 23 showing Fr. Chito Suganob, who was one of some 240 Catholics kidnapped by Islamic militants, calling the Philippines’ government to halt their military offence.

MARAWI, Philippines – Captured priest Father Teresito “Chito” Suganob was seen alive on Sunday in a part of a Philippines city under Islamist militant control, Agence France Presse reports.
