History repeating

  • June 23, 2023

One of the advantages of old age is the benefit of having lived through a lot of history unknown or ignored by younger generations.

Many Canadians who claim to be woke seem unaware they are following Lenin’s strategy for communizing Russia. After the 1917 revolution in that country, statues and paintings of historically famous Russians were torn down and destroyed. St. Petersburg became Leningrad, Volgograd became Stalingrad etc. All religions — the “opiate of the people” — and their public symbols were banned. Secularism was imposed and unacceptable views censored.

Sound familiar? Canadians are several chapters into Lenin’s playbook. It’s time for the woke to awaken.
