I would dearly like to see a regular column by Rev. Andrew Bennett alongside Fr. Scott Lewis.
The confusion, division and scandal Bennett writes about stems primarily from atrocious theology and even worse history. Instead of policy the politicians do sloganeering and instead of doctrine the Church does social justice.
We urgently need a new paradigm rooted in courage: instead of dumbing down, wising up.
