Family of Faith is transforming parishes

Church buildings are also being transformed in small and big ways all over Toronto and the surrounding towns, thanks to the $171-million dollars collected by the Family of Faith campaign.
For many Toronto-area Catholics, the Family of Faith campaign may be a distant memory, or it may be a memory that comes back once a month as their pledge makes its regular visit to their bank account.

Chico Nuguid, the full-time youth minister at Precious Blood Parish in Toronto, is questioned by a parent parisher interested in sending her child to the summer camp he will be running at the younger part of the congregation.

Youth ministry gets jump start from Family of Faith

John MacMullen led a talk during OCY’s first Youth Ministry Training Day on Sept. 19 where aspiring youth ministers learned how to facilitate ministries in their own parishes.

TORONTO - Fourteen “highly invested” parishes and nine new parishes will be hiring new youth ministers within the next few months thanks to funds raised through the Archdiocese of Toronto’s Family of Faith campaign.
