Justice sought for pre-born murder victim
OTTAWA - The family of murder victims Arianna Goberdhan and her pre-born daughter Asaara are looking for the public’s help in a new push to create a law that would mean an unborn child could be considered a murder victim.
Speaking Out: It's time to stand up for the pre-born
In late March 2016, it was announced that a Women’s Wellness Centre was being built in Summerside, P.E.I. It is the first abortion clinic to open on the Island and is scheduled to begin seeing patients in January 2017.
Common sense
Canadian law permits abortion at any time for any reason during a pregnancy. Despite the Supreme Court’s position that Parliament is entitled to legislate some protections for pre-born children, what has developed instead is de facto government endorsement of an absolute right to choose.
