Toronto to host Parliament of World Religions in 2018

Delegates on the stage at the 2015 Parliament of the World's Religions in Salt Lake City, Utah. Toronto will be hosting the next gathering between Oct. 31-Nov. 7, 2018.

More than 10,000 delegates from 80 countries representing some 200 religious, spiritual and indigenous traditions are expected in Toronto for the seventh Parliament of World Religions Oct. 31-Nov. 7, 2018.

Countdown has begun on youth synod preparations

Young people talk during a conference in Rome April 6. The conference was in preparation for next year’s Synod of Bishops on young people, the faith and vocational discernment and World Youth Day in 2019.

The Vatican’s launch date for a website on the 2018 Synod of Bishops has come and gone, but the web site remains offline.

Dublin to host next World Meeting of Families -- in 2018
