Stained glass stations latest step in Marylake rebirth

A recent stained-glass installation on the grounds of the Shrine of Our Lady at Marylake depicts the 14 stations of the cross. The seven-by-four-foot artworks were created by Toronto artist Stuart Reid.

The “rebirth of Marylake” took another step forward on July 22 with the outdoor installation of 14 stunning stained-glass panels depicting the Stations of the Cross.

New Assisi shrine is reminder to shed attachment to money, Pope says

A new shrine to St. Francis of Assisi will be inaugurated May 20 in Assisi, Italy, which will be housed in the Church of St. Mary Major.

Amid Nepal’s shattered shrines and temples, a religious fatalism sets in
