Atheist turned Catholic turned comedian

Jen Fulwiler is taking her Maternal Instinct comedy tour to stages across the United States. Her comedy is observational, she says, and includes some stabs at being Catholic.

The “hard work” of making others laugh is a labour of love and faith for standup comic Jen Fulwiler, a former atheist and Catholic convert delivering a “fresh take on modern life as a woman” to audiences throughout the nation with her 2023 “Maternal Instinct” comedy tour.

Not all jokes are thigh slappers

'Actor Will Smith slaps comedian Chris Rock and the Academy Awards after Rock insulted Smith's wife Jada Pinkett Smith.

It’s been dubbed “the slap heard around the world.” During the March 27 Academy Awards ceremony, Will Smith went on stage and struck comedian Chris Rock in the face after Rock made a joke referring to Jada Pinkett Smith’s shaved head.
