Choir school navigates shelter issues
Efforts to move the Bond Place emergency shelter located roughly 30 metres from the St. Michael’s Choir School — futile so far — have left concerned parent Jennifer Franssen Keenan demoralized and on the verge of despair.
After a long year of vocal restrictions, students and staff at St. Michael’s Choir School are thrilled they’ll be lending their voices to Mass at St. Michael’s Cathedral-Basilica again, albeit with safety protocols in place.
Choir won’t be silenced
Although choir services have been suspended since March due to the coronavirus pandemic, for the students and staff at St. Michael’s Choir School, the music has not been silenced.
