British faith leaders warn Parliament not to legalize assisted suicide

Lord Carey of Clifton, England, who served as Anglican archbishop of Canterbury 1991-2002, preaches during a service of Christian unity in the Anglican cathedral in Chester Jan. 19. Lord Carey said he would dissent from the Church of England's teaching a gainst assisted suicide and vote for a bill scheduled to be debated in the British Parliament.

MANCHESTER, England - The leaders of Britain's faith communities have united to warn Parliament against the "grave error" of legalizing assisted suicide.
