To ignore human trafficking is to be complicit, Pope Francis says

"They were seeking a future" and "perhaps were victims of human trafficking," Pope Francis said during his Angelus prayer Jan. 20.
VATICAN – To be indifferent to or ignore human trafficking and modern-day slavery would be to become an accomplice to those crimes, Pope Francis said.
