Shots fired at people voting outside church in Venezuela

A group of demonstrators tries to help a man after he was shot by a Venezuelan military police sergeant June 22. On July 16, a armed civilians who support the Venezuela government opened fired against a large crowd. One person died from gunshot wounds and several others were injured.

CARACAS, Venezuela – Cardinal Jorge Urosa Savino of Caracas has repudiated Sunday's attack on a referendum in which the vast majority of participants expressed their opposition to the constituent assembly called by President Maduro.
