Assisted suicide raises difficult questions

House members approve measure to repeal Washington D.C. assisted suicide law

U.S. House of Representatives' Appropriation Committee voted July 13 in favor of an amendment to repeal the District of Columbia's assisted suicide law, which came into effect in February.

Judge won’t stop California assisted suicide law or suit challenging it

RIVERSIDE, Calif. – A California judge ruled Aug. 26 that he will not put the state's new assisted-suicide law on hold while a group of doctors are challenging it, but he also ruled that their challenge could continue.
