A biologist's epic tale from a Communist regime to the Canadian Arctic

Josef Svoboda is an Arctic ecologist and professor emeritus in biology at the University of Toronto. He migrated to Canada in 1968, fleeing from the communist regime of Czechoslovakia.

Transgender military ban applauded for respecting biology, the common good
