Queen of Apostles is a place of Oblate hospitality

MISSISSAUGA, ONT. - Queen of Apostles Renewal Centre in Mississauga is a house for people who want to reflect on themselves and to be more conscious of the presence of God in their lives.

In the tradition of the Oblates of Mary Immaculate, we are committed to the search for God and to hospitality.

Queen of Apostles was designed as a retreat centre in 1963 and built on five hectares of land bordering the Credit River. We will celebrate our 50th anniversary next year. “You have every reason to celebrate,” people often say. We see their praise as a compliment and as an incentive to our daily work. Our team wants our house to be a house of hospitality. We try to create an atmosphere of wellbeing for our guests who seek a place of silence and retreat.

We welcome diverse groups with their own program, single guests and participants of our seminars and programs offered at the centre.

Our offerings include Marriage and Engaged Encounter weekends open to all with an emphasis on supporting marriage and family life. The centre has become a favourite place for the ACTS retreat (Adoration Community Theology Service) for men and women. This movement is enjoying growing interest. High school students and teachers often come to us for a day of retreat.

The centre team offers spiritual direction and counselling on request.

As Missionary Oblates of Immaculate we provide an open-minded hospitality making no distinction between any denomination or religion. We respect the dignity and variety of our guests. If possible, we wish to respond to all individual requests.
