{mosimage}TORONTO - A new web-hosting company hopes to make it easier for Toronto-area Catholics to have a presence on the Internet.

Catholic Sky Host is a non-profit media corporation that offers web site hosting, FM-quality audio streaming and video streaming for Catholic organizations, local communities and parishes.

“We believe that this new initiative is of great significance to the community,” said Zbigniew Zeranski, a spokesperson for Catholic Youth Studio-KSM Inc.

Catholic Sky Host is a division of Catholic Youth Studio, a communications corporation for evangelization. It started last year, inspired by the late Pope John Paul II, who encouraged Catholics to use new technologies for the benefit of evangelization.

“It is time for Catholics to have their very own presence recognized. It is also convenient and easy to use,” said Zeranski.

Zeranski said the proceeds from this initiative support Catholic Youth Studios and its projects. For more information, visit www.catholicskyhost.com.
