Archbishop Prendergast admits separate pro-life events show ‘divided’ movement

OTTAWA – Plans for a pro-life march in Toronto on the same day as the National March for Life in Ottawa is evidence the movement is “divided,” says Ottawa Archbishop Terrence Prendergast.

Pope unites two Canadian dioceses under Archbishop Prendergast

The Vatican announced April 27 that Ottawa and Alexandria-Cornwall joined under Archbishop Prendergast, "archbishop of Ottawa (and) also bishop of Alexandria-Cornwall."
VATICAN – Pope Francis has united the Diocese of Alexandria-Cornwall with the Archdiocese of Ottawa "in the person of the bishop," Archbishop Terrence Prendergast of Ottawa, indicating the situation may change in the future.
