Advocacy group report jumps the gun on Ontario school closure

St. Paul Catholic School in downtown Toronto, which has been educating Catholic youth since 1842, is one of the schools the advocacy group Parents for Education said is slated for closure, though Catholic school officials say it won’t happen until a replacement school is in place.

There’s no need to push any panic buttons over Catholic school closures in the year ahead, says the head of Ontario’s Catholic School Trustees’ Association.
