Editorial: A wedding detour

Pope Francis performs an impromptu wedding ceremony for Latam Airlines employees Carlos Ciuffardi Elorriaga, 41, and Paula Podest Ruiz, 39, aboard the pontiff's flight from Santiago, Chile, to Iquique Jan. 18.
People were tickled to their romantic core when Pope Francis officiated at an impromptu wedding ceremony on an airplane 36,000 feet above Chile.

Great big Catholic wedding sets record

Archbishop J. Michael Miller oversaw the convalidation of 30 couples at St. Clare of Assisi Parish.

COQUITLAM, B.C. – Jennifer Sison couldn’t stop crying and smiling when she and her husband Carlo walked down the aisle to say their vows in front of 58 other brides and grooms and hundreds of well wishers at St. Clare of Assisi Parish.
