D&P hosts ecojustice forum for youth

Development and Peace invited about 75 young people across the country to participate in workshops about agroecology and how this practice will help us care for our common home.

Farmers, not corporations, must come first in the effort to promote ecological justice, a youth forum sponsored by Development and Peace Canada was told.

Put a price on carbon to fight climate change, religious investors tell finance minister

Fifty-three religious groups have signed a letter urging the Canadian government to take a stronger stance on climate change by adopting policies like a national carbon tax or a cap and trade policy.

OTTAWA - Religious congregations and faith groups from across Canada have urged Canada’s finance minister to put a price on carbon emissions to combat climate change.
