Prayer teams at work in Healing Clinic

Healing teams worship and pray in preparation for the opening of the clinic on Monday afternoons.

OTTAWA - Every Monday afternoon at St. Augustine’s Parish in Ottawa, the Holy Spirit Healing Clinic opens its door to anyone who wants to pray with a team of trained volunteers.

A year later, it’s still ’Humboldt Strong’

In the aftermath of the Humboldt tragedy, students at St. Monica’s School in Edmonton tied prayer sticks to the fence in the schoolyard, one of many memorials around the country.

It’s been a year since a nation was united in grief, waking up early one spring Saturday morning to the news that a team of young men pursuing their hockey dreams was torn apart in a horrific crash that would claim 16 members of the Humboldt Broncos’ family and leave 13 others with various physical and emotional scars they will carry a lifetime.
