Congratulations to The Catholic Register for publishing the Dec. 1 guest column “What Catholics need to know about Palestine” by Catholics for Justice and Peace in the Holy Land. The facts it states are irrefutable and the actions it calls on Canadian Catholics to perform are moral obligations. Contributing to the Israeli war machine actively by providing arms, or passively by not speaking forcefully against its war crimes, our federal government is cooperating in evil doing. That must stop.
