Put your cross-media sales skills to work
The Catholic Register is seeking a sales representative for our advertising department. The salaried position is a chance to sell across platforms for our newspaper, website, digital newspaper, and other print and digital products as required. The role entails presenting advertising opportunities to the Register’s existing advertisers, and developing new clients.
Additional duties include:
- maintenance of client profiles and updating when necessary
- proof reading of advertising prior to publishing
The successful candidate will have an established sales track record, and specific experience in selling multi-platform media advertising. Familiarity with the wide variety of Catholic institutions and service agencies is essential. Other significant assets would be:
- background in the non-profit sector
- superior skills using tools such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and the AdWorks database
The opening is for a one-year contract beginning in late summer 2023, with the possibility of extension into a permanent position. Training in the specifics of the Register’s advertising milieu and systems will be provided.
