{mosimage}TORONTO — The Toronto Catholic District School Board will once again offer Focus on Youth summer programs for children and youth this summer.

The school board will be able to fund these learning and recreation programs with funds and assistance from the provincial government.

The Focus on Youth program is provided in conjunction with school boards, community agencies and the provincial government. It provides programming for students in high-need inner-city neighbourhoods. Nearly 150 secondary students are hired to participate in leadership programs and perform custodial work in schools during summer months.

The school board will be able to fund these learning and recreation programs with funds from the provincial government. Application deadline is June 1. Information can be found at www.tcdsb.org.
