New media competition announced

{mosimage}THORNHILL, Ont. — Students and staff from St. Elizabeth Catholic Secondary School will host a festival dedicated to productions by youth featuring spirit and religious faith.

Mediaspirit Festival 2008 will take place at St. Elizabeth’s on May 22 from 4-8 p.m.

Students from other schools are encouraged to submit their work. Work submitted may feature photo, video, narrative, poetry, sound, music and drama to name a few.

Five awards with a value of $100 will be granted based on originality, social justice and spiritual potential of the media.
