Goal judge

  • January 4, 2024

In promoting blessing of same-sex couples, Pope Francis argues “...those seeking a blessing should not be required to have prior moral perfection” or “...be subjected to too many moral prerequisites.” In other words, don’t judge their likely sinful activity.

The Pope forgets or ignores the mandate Jesus gave His Apostles: “Whose sins you shall forgive, they are forgiven; whose sins you shall retain, they are retained”. Both require the Church to judge, which this Pope has apparently decided not to do given his “Who am I to judge” comment shortly after his election.

Pope Francis keeps scoring on our own net. No wonder we’re losing.
